Effective November 18, 2024, Elm Ridge WCID has enforced https://utrwd.com/saving-water/help-us-conserve/drought-emergency-management/Stage 2 Water Restrictions for all residents in an effort to conserve water. The restrictions include:

- Mandatory once-per-week watering schedule (see below) between the hours of 6 PM and 10 AM:

Even addresses water on Sundays

Odd addresses water on Wednesdays

HOA/Commercial property water on Tuesdays

- Prohibited use of recreational water (car washes, water slides, jacuzzis, etc.)

These mandatory water use restrictions may be enforced by any combination of warnings, suspension of service, monetary penalties, citations, and fees.
