Police Officer - certified

Under general supervision, provides responsive and courteous police services in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances, generally consisting of routine patrol, interventions, assistance, investigations, and traffic regulation duties.

Police Recruit

Upon successful hiring as an Elm Ridge Police Recruit, applicant will be enrolled in a state accredited basic peace officer course in a police academy to be determined. After graduating the police academy, under general supervision, provides responsive and courteous police services in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances, generally consisting of routine patrol, interventions, assistance, investigations, and traffic regulation duties.

Finance Manager

Finance Manager oversees the district finances through effective resource allocation; performs professional work of technical difficulty, provides technical expertise on financial issues, provides direction of the District’s financial programs with integrity, prudence, and sound financial policies.  This is accomplished by planning, directing, and managing day-to-day operations in the following functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash flow management, investments, budget, and audit.
