Spring Cleanup Events

Get ready for spring cleaning! This month, each Elm Ridge neighborhood is hosting a cleanup day for bulk and hazardous waste collection, document shredding, and electronics recycling. 

See the dates below: 

Savannah - April 5th 9 AM - 12 PM *THIS SATURDAY!*

Artesia - April 12th

ArrowBrooke - April 26th 

Bulk Waste

Waste Connections will provide 2 trucks for bulk trash collection. Please review the acceptable items before dropping off any bulk waste:

Hazardous Waste

All hazardous waste items must have a spill-proof lid with an easily read label. Below are a list of acceptable hazardous waste items:

  • Cleaning products

  • Paints and solvents

  • Pesticides / herbicides / fertilizers

  • Used motor / cooking oil 

  • Batteries

  • Aerosol cans

  • Pool chemicals 

Document Shredding

Here are a list of documents that can be shredded (non-inclusive):

  • Bank statements / checks

  • Credit card / loan applications

  • Medical / financial records

  • Tax documents

  • Hard drives

Electronics Waste

Below are a list of acceptable electronic waste items:

  • Televisions

  • Monitors, keyboards, computer mice

  • printers/copiers

  • Cell phones

  • Laptops

  • Gaming consoles
