Extreme Cold Expected! Prepare Now!

The National Weather Service (NWS) expects a second strong cold front to arrive in North Texas late tomorrow, with wind gusts near 55mph. There is a 30-40% chance of snow and/or ice precipitation for Denton County Sunday into Monday. Wind chills on Sunday night and Monday night could dip to -15 degrees. Road conditions may deteriorate rapidly.
Protect people, pets, plants and pipes!
- Use caution on roadways and bridges in case of ice.
- Cover vulnerable plants.
- Wrap outdoor pipes and disconnect hoses.
- Open cabinets under sinks to allow warm air to circulate around pipes.
